A big Waggy Welcome
In 2010, Marilyn and I retired after long and successful careers in education and set up
Waggy Welcome (Tamworth). Since then, we have met many wonderful animals and their
owners and the demand for our services became so high that we offered a franchise to an old
friend of ours who lives in Burton on Trent and is, like us, a fanatical animal lover.
Dave (also a retired teacher), opened Waggy Welcome, Burton in July 2011 and over the
past year we have shared our knowledge and skills, helped and advised clients and
exchanged amusing anecdotes!
Both branches have experienced so much success that we are now very proud
and excited to announce the opening of a further branch in Melbourne,
Derbyshire, headed by Christine who retires from teaching at the end of July
2012. (Is there are a link between teaching and dog walking?).
For all of our customers, new and old, Waggy Welcome Tamworth, Burton and Melbourne
will run as three separate businesses, but with identical values and standards of service, operating
through the National Association of Registered Petsitters.
We do not propose to become the next Alan Sugar or Richard Branson, but we do intend to offer a
reliable and friendly service to pet owners over a much wider area.
Burton
David and Caroline are the animal lovers behind the Burton Branch, created in response to the increasing demand for pet care services. They believe that every pet is unique and they will treat each animal as they would their own. Operating in Burton the surrounding areas of Stretton, Repton, Willington, Rosliston and Newhall.
Melbourne
Christine is a retired teacher with many years experience of looking after animals and will go out of her way to provide individualised care for your much-loved pets. The Melbourne Branch also covers Kings Newton, Wilson, Ticknall, Castle Donington, Breedon, Aston and other surrounding areas.
