A big Waggy Welcome from Caroline & Dave

I am David and my partner is Caroline. We do not employ anybody else so that we can offer the most personalised service to you and your pets.

Waggy Welcome is a small, friendly and trustworthy dog walking and pet sitting service which covers Burton and nearby villages. Your pets are at the heart and soul of our business and we spend time to ensure that our service meets the individual needs of your pet.

I was brought on a small farm in rural Northumberland and have always been around animals. On the farm it was rabbits, dogs and cats but often it would be pet lambs or the runt of the piglet litter or even a baby calf at one time. Having moved into urban life the house has always been home to pets. Over the last 20 years it has always been dogs usually retired racing greyhounds or other strays from the RSPCA such as my current greyhound, Hooch. He is a real home boy and loves human company (and food!!), he was rescued from the streets where he was starved and battered but his good nature continues to develop as his trust in humans is restored. He is nearly 4 but still acts as if he is a puppy, perhaps he never was treated as such. We love him and are so proud of how far he has come from the dog we brought back from the RSPCA.
